Wedding Photographer Frequently Asked Questions
1. WILL YOU BE THERE FOR THE WHOLE DAY?
Yes, yes we will. We won't miss any of your special moments for the world. We pride ourselves on telling the complete & total story on your wedding day, start to finish.
2. DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEO COVERAGE?
Yes we do provide limited video coverage! The video coverage we provide is of the key moments during the ceremony and the reception. We will record your vows, dances and other key moments of your big day.
3. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are based in El Paso, Texas but we travel a lot and meet our couples in different spots in the city or via Skype/Google Hangouts and sometimes Facetime for those of you Apple fans out there :). We can come to your home and often meet at a Starbucks near you.
4. WHAT ARE YOUR TRAVEL FEES?
We do not charge for travel within a 50 miles radius of El Paso, over that the charge is $1 per mile when driving.
5. WOULD YOU TRAVEL TO MY DESTINATION WEDDING?
Of course, we love traveling and have shot weddings all around. For destination weddings we charge a price of our full day package and of course our flights, hotel stay and car rentals have to be covered.
6. DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH NON-WEDDINGS EVENTS?
Absolutely, we love bar and bat mitzvahs, big fun birthdays and anything else you want us for. We will deliver the same luxury style to any event as we do for weddings.
7. DO I GET THE DIGITAL FILES?
Digital files are offered with some of our wedding packages. You are also welcome to purchase the digital files of your entire event.
8. HOW WILL THE WEDDING DAY GO?
Timeline is important and we can definitely help you with that. we usually like to spend 90-120 minutes to do the “getting ready” pictures, capturing your beautiful details, taking some awesome candid shots of the couple getting ready and the family and friends helping them in the process. We will also need to set some time aside for the first look (if you want to do that) and family pictures. We will then go with you to the ceremony spot or do the first look or, actually, do whatever you decide to do on your wedding day! If it’s a 20 person wedding or 250 person bash – we are right beside you capturing your day. Most of our work is candid and artistic so you will probably not even notice 70-80% of the time. We will help you with your formal family pictures and capture the venue and have some awesome one on one with both of you to get some amazing formal pictures of the wedding couple. We can stay till the very last guest decides to leave or we can quietly depart after the cake.. It’s your day and we are there to help you make it the best day of your life.
9. SO WHEN DO WE SEE THE PICTURES?
Typically you will start seeing your images 4-6 weeks after the wedding day. Maybe sooner. Actually, most of the time sooner. We post favorites on our Facebook page and you can tag yourself and your friends if you choose to do so. You will also receive a link to a password-protected online gallery that you can share with your friends and family. Once your images are ready, we will contact you to schedule a viewing and go over everything that is offered to you such as prints and albums.
10. WHAT EQUIPMENT ARE YOU USING?
We use a top-class professional line for both cameras and lenses. We also have all of our equipment backed up, so there's no chance we will not be able to shoot your wedding in case of malfunction. We also have several different lighting options to capture those artistic and dramatic photos.
11. WILL YOU USE A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Fortunately, we are a husband and wife photography team and shoot all events together. The benefit of that for you is that you get two professional photographers with different angles taking images of your most beautiful day! Most important to us is that your wedding is completely covered from beginning to end.
